This disruption coincides with an announcement over the weekend that LH Telecommunication Limited has acquired the struggling network operator with plans for a major transformation.

Subscribers report that the network downtime began on Saturday and continued through Tuesday, with no resolution in sight as of the latest update.

The situation is exacerbated by 9mobile’s silence, leaving customers without any official explanation or updates.

Attempts  to contact the company’s spokesperson were unsuccessful, as her phone was unreachable and there was no reply to a our text message.

Despite the simultaneous SIM blockages due to unverified National Identification Numbers (NIN) across all mobile operators, 9mobile’s issues appeared unique. This was underscored when the Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC) ordered all operators to unblock affected lines on Monday, yet 9mobile’s service remained down.
