Xiaomi just concluded its latest launch event which brought three new Redmi phones all boasting 5G connectivity. Redmi Note 11 Pro+ 5G, Redmi 10 5G, and Note 11S 5G smartphones.
The Redmi Note 11 Pro+ 5G features a MediaTek’s Dimensity 920 chipset and blazing fast 120W charging which takes just 15 minutes for a full charge. Redmi Note 11S 5G gets a Dimensity 810 and 33W charging while the Redmi Note 10 5G has a Dimensity 700 and 18W charging.
Redmi Note 11 Pro+ 5G
The phone packs a Dimensity 920 5G processor featuring an octa-core CPU (2x Cortex-A78 and 6x Cortex-A55) and a Mali-G68 MC4 GPU. Other core specs include a 6.67-inch FHD+ 120Hz OLED screen, Gorilla Glass 5, 6/8GB RAM and 128/256GB storage. It is housed by a 4,500mAh battery. The latter represents a drop in capacity over other Redmi Note 11 phones, which usually offer 5,000mAh batteries.
The biggest selling point here is the addition of 120W HyperCharge tech which should do a full charge in just 15 minutes flat. Fortunately, the phone comes with a 120W charger in the box too.
Redmi Note 11 Pro+ 5G comes in Graphite Gray, Star Blue, Forest Green colors. The baseline 6/128GB trim starts at $369. The 8/128GB model is priced at $399 while the 8/256GB will go for $449.
Redmi Note 11S 5G
Redmi Note 11S 5G is a rebadged Poco M4 Pro 5G so you get a 6.6-inch IPS LCD with a 90Hz refresh rate display and a Dimensity 810 SoC. It is equipped with a triple camera setup (50MP main, 8MP ultrawide, and the aforementioned 2MP lens) and a 13MP selfie shooter. Otherwise, you’re also getting dual speakers, a side fingerprint scanner, and MIUI 13. The battery is rated at 5,000 mAh and boasts 33W charging.
Redmi Note 11S 5G is priced at $249 for the 4/64GB model. There’s a midpoint 4/128GB version for $279 and a top-of-the-line 6/128GB trim for $299.
Redmi 10 5G
The Redmi 10 5G marks the first time we see 5G in the low-end Redmi series (i.e. the non-Note phones). It’s powered by a Dimensity 700 SoC, but also brings a 6.58-inch 90Hz FHD+ LCD screen and a 5,000mAh battery with 18W charging.
In a neat touch, you’re actually getting a slightly faster 22.5W charger in the box.
Redmi 10 5G comes in Graphite Gray, Chrome Silver and Aurora Green colors. It comes in two storage trims with a 4/64GB one going for $199 while the 4/128GB version is $229.
