Gionee Launches G13 Pro, iPhone 13 Look Alike With HarmonyOS

Gionee has launched a peculiar device that looks exactly like the iPhone 13 design, notched display to the flat side frame and diagonally placed dual cameras and boots Huawei’s HarmonyOS with the full HMS ecosystem.

The Gionee G13 Pro gets a 6.26-inch FHD+ LCD with a 19:9 aspect ratio and a 5MP selfie cam tucked inside the notch which can be used to unlock the phone. The device is powered by the Unisoc T310 chipset with 4GB RAM and 32/128GB storage.

There’s a 13MP main cam as well as a 2MP macro shooter on the back. The battery comes in at 3,500 mAh and charges via USB-C

Gionee G13 Pro has two modes that is Elderly Mode and a Smart Mode. The former makes the smartphone easier to use for the elderly by increasing the size of the font as well as the icons. It also sends health codes, payment codes, and makes it more practical to use.

Smart Mode is touted to be suitable for younger, office-going users who need a more efficient UI experience.

The Gionee handset supports Huawei’s HMS ecosystem and multiple software openings. It also allows multiple WeChat accounts to open concurrently. The smartphone also supports splitscreen that is claimed to let users play and chat at the same time.

Pricing

Gionee 13 Pro comes in four color options – blue, gold, purple and black. The baseline 4/32GB model starts at CNY 529 ($83) while the 4/128GB version will sell for CNY 699 ($110). It is already on open sale in China from online retailer JD.com.
