Few weeks back, it was rumored that Tecno was preparing to launch its first ever 5G device which is going to happen anytime soon, however, the company has just launched an affordable android device dubbed as Pova Neo and it comes with а big 6,000 mAh battery and an ample screen.
Tecno Pova Neo features a 6.8” LCD with HD+ resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. It has a waterdrop notch on the top for an 8MP selfie camera, while on the back are 13MP main and 2MP portrait cameras. There is also a quad-LED flash, all of them in the same color.
The phone is powered by Helio P22, and Tecno coupled it with 4GB RAM. There’s 64GB storage, but there is a microSD slot for easy expansion.
The device runs Android 11 out of the box with HiOS 7.6 on top. The big battery can be charged through the USB-C port with the 18W adapter that comes in the retail box.
Pricing
The price of the phone is NGN72,500, which is around $175. It can be purchased in offline stores, with customers having three color choices
For now, no words on when the 5G version will be released; hopefully, in the coming weeks there will be more news about it.
