After so many rumors, the much awaited Redmi 10 has been launched, the company’s latest smartphone in the budget Redmi series, and also the first phone in the series to have a high refresh rate display.
The Redmi 10 features a 6.5” 1080p” LCD (20:9) that can run at up to 90Hz (with 60Hz and 45Hz modes too). Also, the first phone to use the new Helio G88 chipset from MediaTek, a tweaked version of the G85 that enables the higher refresh rate at 1080p+ resolution.
The phone runs Android 11 with MIUI 12.5 out of the box, 4GB of RAM and 64GB storage, but there will be 4/128GB and 6/128GB options.
Looking at the cameras, the phone has a 50MP rear camera, a first of its kind in its category, accompanied by 8MP ultra-wide camera, 2MP macro camera, and a 2MP depth sensor. The front-facing camera is inside a punch hole and has an 8MP sensor.
The phone houses a 5,000 mAh battery that supports 18W wired charging and 9W reverse charging. Despite being a budget model, this phone comes with a 22.5W charger in the box.

The Redmi 10 is priced at US$ 179 for 4GB + 64GB , US$ 199 for 4GB + 128GB, and US$ 219 for the 6GB + 128GB version, and will roll out starting from August 20th.
Why can’t them just go out of punchhole design I hate it.
