The Npower portal helps to hire interested and eligible Nigerians for a paid volunteer job programme with a duration period lasting 24 months.
Remember that immediately the Npower registration portal was closed, a list of pre-selected candidates was compiled.
If you recently applied for the Npower registration exercise irrespective of the category you applied for, you must check the Npower pre-selection list and track the progress of your registration.
Note: all applicants that have been successfully shortlisted will have to undergo final Verification and Deployment.
This process involves the Npower organizers verifying your certificates at the Local Government Area of the assignment level.
It’s not going to be a smooth process, so you must exercise some patience as the process goes on.

Here is the list of documents that you should get along with you for the verification process
- Date of Birth Certificate
- SSCE & Ond Certificates
- BSc, HND Certificate
- NYSC Discharged Certificate
How to Check N-power Shortlisted List
- Go to the Npower preselection portal here www.npower.gov.ng
- Log in, and click on “Check your pre-selection status”
- You can type in your email address, your BVN, Registered phone number, or your name in the search box.
- Your name will appear if you are selected.
- You will receive a congratulatory message.
Note that there is every chance that You will receive an SMS and email from Npower congratulating you on your pre-selection status.
If you’ve been shortlisted, then get prepared for physical verification for final deployment to areas of assignment.
Your credentials will be verified in your assigned local government by N-power focal person.
