Xiaomi has introduced 200W HyperCharge fast charging technology which is currently the highest ever in a smartphone. It can charge a smartphone battery from 0-100% in 8 minutes.
in 2019, 100W fast charging technology was introduced and 120W fast charging in Mi 10 Ultra last year; and now this which is currently the highest in a phone.
Xiaomi has demonstrated these fast charging technologies in a modified Mi 10 Pro smartphone that shows a 4,000 mAh battery on the phone being charged up to 10% in 1 minute, 50% in 8 minutes, and 100% in 19 minutes.
According to the company, these are the new industry records for both wired and wireless fast charging. The video posted below shows a phone with a 4000mAh battery that takes just 44 seconds for 10% charge, 50% in just 3 minutes and 100% charge takes just 8 minutes.
We don’t know for now if this new technology will be added to upcoming smartphones or not.
