Earlier in November, WhatsApp messenger introduced a disappearing message feature, a feature that automatically deletes particular chats after a while. And now, the chat messenger provider has released the December update.
The latest update on the app allows you to personalize your wallpapers with who you are chatting with. You can assign different wallpapers to your chats with all of your contacts. Meaning chat A can have a different wallpaper from chat B, the same goes for Chat C.
This feature is pleasing because it allows you to know that you are sending the right message to the right person based on how used to the wallpaper you are using for that chat.
According to WhatsApp
“Wallpapers on WhatsApp can now be customized per chat, with an updated wallpaper gallery, additional doodle wallpapers, and the ability to set separate wallpapers for light and dark mode settings.”
There is a handful of them too. They are split into two categories – dark and bright. The app can also sync with your system’s preference so once you turn on the dark mode, the app will switch to dark mode as well. Moreover, you can change the color of the default doodle wallpaper.
Another minor but rather useful change is the ability to search for stickers using emojis or text. A relevant sticker suggestion will pop up, similarly to Telegram.
The update is available for Android and iOS users once they update their current chat messenger to the latest version from the app store.
Whao! I love this update
