Nigeria’s Top 10 Google Searches in 2020

Google has published its Year in Search for 2020, which reveals the most frequent search terms across a number of categories Nigeria.

The search terms comprised a large number of COVID-19-related search terms, US election, Google Class Room, and other related search terms.

Who is the new US President tops the most searched for question in the country, ranking above “Who is George Floyd?” and “How to make Face mask”.

Search trends information is gleaned from data collated by Google based on what Nigerians have been searching for and asking Google.
