Globacom has launched a new tariff plan which allows subscribers to call all networks in the country at 11k per second.
The plan which is another move by the company to give its customers a unique calling experience is also expected to help cushion the effect of the global pandemic, COVID-19.
According to Glo, subscribers who opt for the plan will be charged an access fee of N7 which will be billed alongside their first call of the day, after which they will be able to make calls to all networks in Nigeria at 11 kobos per second (exclusive of tax) for the rest of the day.
It stated further that the access fee of N7 will be waived for any customer who does not make any call but only receives calls throughout the day.
The company said that international calls and SMS rates remain unchanged, adding that customers on the new tariff plan will pay the standard SMS and IDD tariff. It, however, added that customers can enjoy a better international call rate on the Glo network by purchasing any of the IDD packs available.
According to Globacom,
“We desire to continually delight our customers with innovative products and services at the most competitive rates in the country,” adding that “This new tariff plan is another manifestation of that burning desire to add value to the lives of our customers and make it more convenient and affordable for them to communicate with one another”.
How to Migrate to The New Globacom Tariff Plan
Dial *311# and you’ll be automatically migrated to the Glo 11k per the second plan.
The new tariff plan is open to both existing and new prepaid customers.
Airtel ‘s Freedom plan is doing 12k/s.
Glo stepping up their game
To me, Glo is even doing more better with their Glo Yakata. I praise them for that. Did you know? I have as huge as 50K on my Glo Yakata balance to call any network. Infact, I can talk to any of my friends on phone for 24hrs without been scared. I only load my MTN main line just occasionally, so that my MTN line won’t be blocked. Glo even shocked me when they gave me 2GB on my birthday. No network in Nigeria can do what Glo is doing. The truth is truthful!
The only problem of Glo is bad management. They give million of naira to celebrities instead of using the money to better their network. They need expert engineers, researchers, resource persons, etc to position their network to greatness. I hereby recommend Prof Yomi.
This is sounding nice. The only issue I have with them is slow internet… nothing more
