Nigerians are angry with MTN, Airtel, Glo, and the so-called 9mobile as Cut Data Price trend online. A lot of subscribers have lamented their ordeal being forced to stay at home and how they endlessly use data that doesn’t even last up to a month.
Some subscribers opined that their data zap faster than refresher Youghout, while some other subscriber simply drew the attention of telecom providers to other countries like the UK giving 30 days free Unlimited data to their citizens as seen below;
Just last week MTN promise to cut data prices down by up to 50% during this lockdown as reported by IOL in addition to free daily 20MB data to keep subscribers in SA connected during this lockdown.
But what all the telecom providers made available to their subscribers in Nigeria is free-access to NCDC health site to keep subscribers updated about the Covid19 pandemic which Nigerians are already reacting to.
A few minutes ago, MTN posted on their twitter handle, educating subscribers on Myth and Facts of the pandemic, but it turns southward when subscribers express their grievances on the telco to cut data price.
We know how to get the fact ourselves. All u need to do is to show humanity to all ur subscribers by giving out free data

None of the telecom providers has reacted to it at the time of writing, and we hope they should at least cut the price of data or give at least free 1GB to subscribers every day for 30 days.

All these network provider are just being stingy. There’s nothing special if they cut down the price or maybe give each of their subscribers a certain amount of data. But instead they are zapping our data as if na free money we Dey take buy data. Onye ara
