A few weeks ago, we alerted you about the upcoming OPay smartphones that are recently being advertised on OPay wallet. The smartphones have been launched in the OLLA series.
Opay in an attempt to change the narrative has joined Smartphone makers with the release of her new android smartphones OLLA. This new cheap and affordable smartphone will be competing with the likes of Xiaomi, OPPO, Infinix and Tecno smartphones in the Nigerian smartphone market.
The smartphone has been unveiled on Tuesday 4th February 2020, and it comes in six models code-name

OLLA Note 3: Comes with 6.5 HD+ Display, 2.0GHz octa-core processor, and runs Android 9 Pie out of the box. Looking at the cameras, we have
dual rear cameras of 16MP + 2MP and a 16MP front-facing camera. 4GB + 64GB onboard storage, Dual Sim and housed by 3000mAh battery capacity.

OLLA M8 Plus: 5.99+ Display, 1.3GHz Quad-core, dual rear cameras of 8MP + 0.3MP and 5MP front-facing camera. 2GB + 16GB onboard storage and will run Android 9 Pie out of the box. It is housed by a battery capacity of 2800mAh.
OLLA M8: On the other hands, comes with 5.77 HD+ Dot drop display, 13MP + 2MP rear cameras and 5MP front-facing cameras, 2GB + 16GB onboard storage housed by a 3000mAh battery capacity
OLLa M1 Lite: 5.7 HD+ Dot drop display, 8MP rear camera + 8MP front-facing camera, 2GB + 16GB onboard storage, Android 9 Pie, housed by a 3000mAh battery capacity.
OLLA M6: This device is a 3G smartphone with 1.2GHz Quad-core processor, Android 8 Go edition, 5.45 Display, 5MP back camera and 5MP front camera, 1GB + 8GB onboard storage housed by a 2500mAh battery capacity.

OLLA M8 PLUS(4G) 2GB+16GB goes for N22,000
OLLA M8(4G) 2GB+16GB variant for N21,000
OLLA MI LITE(4G) 2GB+16GB variant for N20,500
… and OLLA M6 goes for N16,000
The new OLLA smartphones will be available in the market for purchase beginning from the 25th of February, 2020.
We are hoping the smartphones purchase will come with a different bonanza when the sales begin.
