We all have that special passwords we use for everything, ranging from email, facebook, twitter, and that secret dating site. The question is how secure is your password? Is it prone to hackers?

Drawing on an analysis of a total of 500 million passwords that were leaked in various data breaches in 2019, NordPass found that ‘12345’, ‘123456’ and ‘123456789’ reigned supreme in order of frequency.

About 6.3 million accounts use 12345’, ‘123456’ and ‘123456789’ as a password to secure their account which is questionable.

If your password looks like what is written above or similar, then you should consider changing it very fast otherwise, hackers may easily get access to your account. One easy way of generating a strong password is to use a combination of upper and lower case, numbers and symbols; with that, it will be difficult to hack.

  1. Simple and simple should be d way to go. My Fidelity Bank always asks for a complex password with all kinds characters but now I can’t use their app bcuz I can’t remember my password 😒😣😣
