Redmi 8A with 6.22-inch HD+ display, 5000mAh battery Launched

Xiaomi has launched a budget friendly smartphone Redmi 8A and it brings a slew of improvements over its predecessor Redmi 7A.

Xiaomi Redmi A features a 6.22-inch HD+ 19:9 aspect ratio display with Dot Notch and Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection; powered by an Octa-Core Snapdragon 439 SoC with up to 3GB RAM and runs Android Pie with MIUI 10 on top.

Looking at the camara, it has a 12MP rear camera and an 8MP front camera. It comes with face unlock, but no fingerprint ID support.

It is housed by 5000mAh battery capacity with support for 18W fast charging.

  1. No face lock, no finger prints support.
    The lacks are compensated with huge battery bank at 5000mAh.
    Pretty basic and low budget phone.
    Good buy at that price.

    Xiaomi should probably slow down on phone launching as they are beginning to confuse users with many models with little or no innovative features.
