The MATRIX returns back to theaters for 20th anniversary

You all remember The MATRIX? It is headed back to theatres for one week to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the sci-fi classic. Specifically, it’ll be screened in the 135 Dolby Cinema AMC theaters around the country, from August 30th to September 5th.

The MATRIX came out in 1999 and blew our collective minds with special effects that had never been seen before.

For those who have never taken the red pill, The MATRIX revolutionized filmmaking with techniques like bullet time and new stunt methods. Its blend of philosophy, technology, and kung-fu raised the expectations for what defined a good action movie.

What you are about to watch is an upgrade of what you watched in 1999… Keanu Reeves playing as NEO, kicking butt as John Wick, popping up in Toy Story 4 and starring in a video game.

  1. This is an interesting comeback in theatre mode. but I’m guessing the creators of the movie just want to make money since 2019 is already the year of Keanu Reave and any movie he feature will always interest the people. Nice one thoug.
