Realme XT with 64MP Quad Camera will Rival Redmi Note 8 Pro

Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 Pro direct competitor is here; Realme XT.

The company’s Chinese arm has revealed the first look of the device on social media today. At the Realme 5 series launch, the company said that the Realme 64MP camera handset will be called Realme XT.

There is no fingerprint scanner on the phone, as it comes with in-display fingerprint scanner and an AMOLED screen, similar to the realme X.

The Realme XT features a 6.4-inch AMOLED display that is embedded with an in-screen fingerprint reader.  The display produces full HD+ resolution – fueled by the Snapdragon 712 chipset. The SOC is coupled with 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of UFS 2.1 storage.

The smartphone comes with quad camera set up (64MP Samsung GW1 primary lens, an 8PM ultrawide lens, a 2MP dedicated macro lens and a 2MP depth sensor.) the Realme XT has its 16-megapixel selfie camera lodged inside the front notch.

It will come preloaded with Android 9 Pie OS that is skinned with ColorOS 6.0 out of the box, powered by a 4,000mAh battery that carries support for VOOC 3.0 rapid charging.

Expected to be in the market in September… No word on the pricing yet, but we expect it to be pocket friendly.
