As long as the popular instant messaging app ‘WhatsApp’ remains, you won’t stop seeing update.
According to reports, WhatsApp has been working on this feature for months, and they are near the state of perfection. This feature is called Picture in Picture Mode.
The Picture in Picture mode allow you to view YouTube, Facebook and Instagram videos directly in WhatsApp.
How Will Picture in Picture Mode Work?
When the feature is available, you will see a Play symbol in the thumbnail preview.
Note: this might change before the release of the feature.
When you tap that Play icon, WhatsApp will show you the video in Picture in Picture mode, so you can continue to navigate in the chat while you’re viewing the video:
The same is applied when you see an Instagram Video on WhatsApp, but not applicable to Instagram story videos.
At the moment, no time frame for the release of this feature but you’ll definitely be put in picture when its available.

Oga prof I’ve been enjoying PIP mode on whatsapp ever since i updated my s8 to oreo. For example when making video calls i xan exit d whatsapp application and a small pop up of d video chat will show on my screen while i continue to navigate oda apps
