Facebook launches Messenger Kids for Android

Facebook messenger kid app is now available for android,
having being already available for iOS and Amazon Fire Tab. The application is
aimed at 6- to 12-year old children and lacks in-app purchases or Hide options
so that parents can have more control over any unsolicited messages.

Messenger Kids is a free video calling and messaging app
designed for kids to connect with close friends and family from their tablet or
smartphone. Kids can only connect with parent-approved contacts, which create a
more controlled environment.
Messenger Kids does not ask for a phone number or need a
Facebook account, unlike the regular Facebook messenger. Kids can message and
video call using Wi-Fi, hence phone number is not required. Kids can also
report inappropriate content in the app or block contact.
Which devices is this app available on?
Messenger Kids is available in the iOS App Store for iPad,
iPod touch and iPhone, in the Amazon Appstore for Fire tablets, and on Google
Play for all other Android devices.
