Google Launches Android Oreo Go Edition For Smartphones With 1GB or 512MB Ram

Google just announced the latest version of Android Oreo
dubbed has Android Go. It is built specifically for entry level smartphones
with ram size of 512MB or 1GB ram.

The new Android Oreo (Go edition) would be made available as
part of the Android 8.1 update that would be released tomorrow. The new Android
Go comprises of three aspects which includes; the operating system, Google apps
and the Play Store. All three aspects have been optimized to run with
fluidity on smartphones with low RAM sizes.

According to Google, the new Android Go edition has been
optimized in such a way that average app is 15% faster on the new OS,
pre-installed apps take 50% less space and it absolutely take care of
background apps exhausting your data as it auto turn on data saver by default.
Android Go edition will be coming with nine apps
preinstalled. These apps are super lightweight and they include Google Go,
Google Assistant Go, YouTube Go, Google Maps Go, Gmail Go, Gboard, Google Play,
Chrome, and Files Go. 
If you are browsing with Chrome, everything will get run through
a Google server that reduces file sizes before it gets delivered to your phone.
Android Go is distinct and different from Android One, by
the way. Both are intended to raise the quality of low-end devices, but from
different directions.
