Last month, WhatsApp introduced a ‘delete for everyone’
feature, allowing users to unsend an embarrassing message within seven minutes
of sending it. The message once deleted from the senders end’ automatically

But a new report from a Spanish blog claims that WhatsApp
messages that are deleted are actually still on the device, and can easily be
accessed through Settings by the recipient. The recipient can easily access the
deleted messages regardless whether it has been deleted from sender’s end.

Whenever a
notification comes in to an Android devices, it is stored in the notification
log – whether or not it is subsequently deleted by the sender.

This raised a serious security issues with WhatsApp
since one of the main reasons people use WhatsApp over text messaging is that
it uses end-to-end encryption, that is seen as a secure option.

pls help.i registered a new blockchain acct.and did a 2fa .i got the code on my airtel sim.but my other blockchsin wallet acct.after loggin in with pasword.it enters 2fa code.i have clicked more than 20times .i got no code from blockchain on my mtn line since on wednesday till now.i have some money in there.how can i retrieve it back.pls help.i have not been myself since wednesday..
Hello friend,
If it is Google Auth, It is an app and the 2fa code doesn't come via text but via thesame app.
My advice is, login to blockchain from PC, open your 2FA app from your mobile and input the code randomly generated by the 2fa google auth app resident on your mobile to your blockchain.info account and it will log you in.
This post reminded me of the days of Java S40 and S60.
It still being in the notification logs makes so much sense. Whoever noticed this is really sharp
Yes

Yomi this is a flaw, maybe not a serious flaw.. but it is a security flaw
So much for end ro end encryption. Best thing to do is to think hard before sending anything online. Once it's online it's accessible.
nice one
