Google N13,000 Ice 2 Smartphone has Finally Been Launched in Nigeria –

Do you still remember the N13,000 smartphone Google promised
to launch in Nigeria? It is finally available for purchase.

The Ice 2 Freetel is not a Google smartphone, but Google
partnered with a Japanese smart phone brand TD Mobile, to launch the smartphone in Nigeria dubbed as Freetel Ice 2.
The smartphone has been launched and its
Google GMS certified, meaning that the device meets Google’s performance
requirements and properly runs Google Apps. Also in partnership with MTN and
comes  pre-loaded with MTN’s latest apps
including MTN Music Plus.
In addition, all
customers who buy the device will enjoy double data bonus on every data bundle
they buy for three months
The device is also pre-loaded with World reader’s
free e-library of 50,000 e-books – an app that enables Nigerians to read their favorite
book at no cost.

      Note that I'm making reference to Freetel Ice 2 Google GMS certified and not Freetel Ice 2 Plus.

      Freetel ice 2 GMS certified comes with 5.5inch and Android 7 nougat out of the box.

    • The specs of the phone is wrong prof as regards the screen size. It's a 4 incher! It's a 4 inch device and not 5.5 inches. It's on jumia too. Thank God i didn't place the order. Who needs a 4 incher?
