How to Check if a Company is Legitly Registered or Not in Nigeria

Before you transact business with any company in NIG, it is
important to know if the company is registered or not. Before a company
becomes legit to operate in Nigeria, it must have undergone the registration process with
Corporate Affair Commission (CAC). Registering a company in Nigeria is not
something that is expensive except if you don’t know your way around
that is when some pocket leaking lawyer will use you as their wallet.

I’m going to show you how to check if a company is duly
registered or not in easy steps.

How Can I Know if a Company is Registered in Nigeria?

>>Go to http://publicsearch.cac.gov.ng

>>Enter the name of the company in the search field
without “LTD or Limited” e.g ASACAD CONSULTS

>>Check the Captcha button

>>The search result will show you if the company is
registered or not, or undergoing registration with the RC No.

If the company is not listed on CAC, then the “company” is
not licensed to operate.
