      First of all you can back up your contacts etc by going to Seetings>>Acount>>Google, enable what is not enable for snyc.

      Or you can download easy back up to back up your Sms,contacts,log calls etc but it doesn't back up your pictures and video.

      Once you are rooted, you can easily create a duplicate of your rom.
