NCC Might Soon Start Monitoring Your Activities on BBM, WhatsApp, & Facebook

NCC
will soon be tracking your activities on Whatsapp, BBM, Facebook, WeChat etc.
The truth is, NCC might soon marshal out a licensing
regime through a regulatory framework for their operations in the country.

OTT
players are platforms that deliver audio, video, and other media over the
Internet without the involvement of a multiple-system operator in the control
or distribution of the content.

OTT
players include Facebook, Skype, WhatsApp, Viber, Blackberry Messenger (BBM)
and WeChat, among others, are prime target in the impending regulation.

All
manner of regulation coming out everyday

  4. This is wrong and not likely. And even if it is, BBM will have to pull out of the country because Blackberry will never let any organisation or government access to secure servers or messages

  5. OTT players and NCC are mad. How can they do that when Nigerians are becoming a little more like America Citizen and how can they do that when Nigeria stupid NCC don't even have any database of Nigerians.
