10. Kit kat upgrade to lollipop is an overhaul of all u knew on android. Lollipop to marshmallow can be talk of as android lollipop v5.5. Just a little adjustment and addition.

    • If you root it, you won't get OTA update but will manually need to flash 6.0 OS on your device.

    • You can upgrade it manually when update is available but not via OTA bcause its rooted

    • so should uproot so I can update

17. are you sure these are all the xiaomi phones getting marshmallow? what of the mi 4c? it's newer than the mi 4 so i don't see why xiaomi won't roll out an update for it.

    • I believe the once listed above are the first generation of Xiaomi getting Mashmallow, others will definitely get too
